Edw. Stablewski was a sailor of the old school, and has sailed with some few sailing ship among others an 3 masted schooner "Venus" and other boats.
The lastest ship he sailed with, before he went ashore, was "Aslaug" of the shipping firm Torm.
After 40 years as a boatswain at DSB (Danish State´s rail- and ship compagny), at the rute Kalundborg, Samsø and Århus, Edward retired on pension, and started building ship-models in big electric bulb´s and small boxes and until his death, is was drawing of the most beautiful Tall Ships from the whole world, that he produced in his own unique black and white style.
